I have often thought that the “price” of a thing should be high. That in order to have anything worth while one must struggle. This is something that I know that I’m good at: fighting the good fight to get what I want. Lately I’ve been contemplating the possibility that it’s the struggling part that keeps us from having the things that we want. Too simple? Probably. Trite? Perhaps, but what if it were true? What if our biggest obstacle to happiness is our insitence that life should be difficult?
